If you’re travelling by train, The Bathampton Mill is just a nine minute drive from Bath Spa station.

Keeping Busy in Bathampton

Located in the quaint village of Bathampton, just two miles to the east of Bath on the south bank of the River Avon.

Just above the village, you’ll find Sham Castle, a folly, which was built in 1762 by Richard James. The Castle is illuminated at night – why not take a look after you’ve enjoyed a delicious evening meal at The Bathampton Mill.

If you’re looking to enjoy the great outdoors, the 20 acre Bathampton Meadow and Oxbow Wetland is a fabulous nature reserve that is home to an abundance of wildlife as well as trees, shrubs, and flowers. Bathwick Wood and Hengrove Wood are also close by.

The countless attractions of the picturesque spa town of Bath are also within easy reach. Explore the Roman BathsBath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, and the Theatre Royal, before calling into The Bathampton Mill for a well earned rest and refuel.
